  • Alliance for Girls

"Fusenot Foundation's generous contribution to Alliance for Girls (AFG) will make a tremendous difference to our work. AFG is championing the leaders who transform communities. Through AFG, more than 100 organizations, including 8,000 adult allies, are working collectively to break down systemic barriers and ensure every girl has the supports and opportunities she needs to thrive. Together we have produced original research on the lived experiences of girls in California, passed new sexual harassment policies with and for girls, and we have trained thousands of service providers and educators in best practices for meeting girls' needs (89% learned new skills that make them more effective in their roles). The funding provided by the Fustnot Foundation will allow us to deepen this programming and pursue our vision of a world where a girls' worth is determined by her mind and spirit, her body is safe and a source of joy, and the sky is her limit."

This is a ten year journey; all at no cost the families. The Fusenot Foundation Grant will assist us in enrolling an additional +-40 underserved youth into A Step Beyond's integrative Program."

  • Boys & Girls Clubs of East County

"More than 3,000 children have a safe, active and fun place to stay, play and learn until it’s time to go home. No child is denied access to the Clubs due to the inability to pay the dues, and scholarships are offered to families in need of financial assistance. In order to keep our membership dues low, we need the support of our community and beyond. The Boys & Girls Clubs of East County is proud to be a recipient of the Fusenot Charity Foundation."

Samantha "Sam" Olsen, Director of Development
